How Does Hobart Airport Undercover Parking Work?

On your arrival at the Airport Undercover Parking facility, you will be directed to park your car and then check-in at the reception. Make sure you take your Flyparks booking confirmation with you. You will then be allocated to one of Airport Undercover Parking’s four shuttle buses. The buses run on demand, and will take you to your terminal promptly. The average transfer time is just 3 minutes.

Hobart Undercover Parking recommends that you arrive at their premises a full 60 minutes before you plan on checking in at the airport. This will allow you plenty of time to ask any questions, receive help with your luggage, and account for any delays in traffic. Those flying Tigerair are asked to arrive 90 minutes before they need to be at the terminal, to have plenty of time for check-in once they reach Hobart Airport.

On your return to Hobart, Airport Undercover Parking will send a shuttle bus to come and collect you. The staff at Airport Undercover Parking will show you where the meeting point is for the bus, and you can always call them to ask questions, using the number on your Flyparks booking confirmation.

Will My Car Be Safe?

The open car park is equipped with a range of security measures to protect your car, including 2 metre high fencing, 24 hour CCTV surveillance, floodlighting, and entry and exit barriers. Airport Undercover Parking states that categorically, that no vehicle has ever been broken into or stolen from their yard.

Good to Know!

It’s possible to bring your dog along with you to Airport Undercover Parking. The car park has an arrangement with Best Friends Pet Resort in Hobart, which has provided two dog cages. If you plan on keeping your dog in their kennel whilst you are away, you will need to arrange for Best Friends Pet Resort to come and collect your dog from the car park. You’ll then be able to place your dog inside one of the on-site cages, and proceed to the airport on the shuttle bus, knowing that your dog will be safely cared for at Best Friends.

Booked online on 8/05/21, but information not forwarded to park attendant. Caused confusion as they were not expecting us in spite of phoning them twice. Then they thought I had not paid although I had proof of purchase. Communication needs to be improved.
