Airport Express Car Parking Reviews

I have dealt with alot of airport transfers before but I have never had a worse experience with AirPort Express. Firstly we arrived to the gate being closed with a massive bike lock on the gate, had to call to make sure someone would be able to let us in, the man driving the van was the most laziest rudest worker I have ever met in my life he would not help load the bags in the van, expected us to close everything and basically do his job, I’m surprised he didn’t ask us to drive the van to the airport aswell that’s how lazy he was. He gave us a lot of attitude and overall a very unpleasant person to be around if you are that unhappy doing your job get a different job I will not be using this business again and will warn everyone not to use this service

Awesome experience. Great price and location and super responsive team. They were waiting to take us to the airport as soon as we dropped off the car and there straight away when we left the airport. Couldn’t have been easier. Will definitely be using again next time.

The location is fine, a short 10 minute ride to the airport, and the service is cost competitive. We had issues (again) at drop off, where the manager was away from site (and not on an airport run) so we were (again) delayed in dropping off. When he arrived, he seemed quite put out that we should choose to arrive at the airport with three hours grace before departure (as the airlines requested) and seemed not to be in a hurry at all, which was not entirely satisfactory. Pick up was okay, although, there was a significant wait, and it was noted that the driver provides absolutely no assistance in loading/unloading the bags. ParkMundo represents a fairly good quality service at a competitive price.

When I made my booking, you only asked for flight times - not when you need to be at the airport. So when I put in an international flight for 7.45 - that means that I have to be there 3 hours earlier. On your website, you say that you are open from 5 am. So we arrive at 5.10 and the office is not open. I ring the number, and the guy who answers says that he has just got out of bed and won't be at the office for 40 - 45 minutes. So we have to take an Uber to the airport. I believe that you should reimburse me for this.

What a great experience. It was relatively easy to find this place, The guy in charge was awesome, such a friendly guy, very accommodating, very punctual and quite professional. It was so easy to park here, when we got there he was waiting for us, he took us straight to the airport, no waiting, no mucking around and it was no more than about 5 minutes drive, and when we got back I made the call and he was there to pick us up within minutes. This kind of service is seriously lacking these days but this guy, he knows what good service is. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, we will absolutely be parking here again.

While the driver was mostly friendly. The whole experience was rather poorly run. Supposedly the place opened at 5? We arrived at 5.30 it was pitch black no one around? I had to call someone - got a person on the other end of the phone who was extremely hard to understand and was very short with me. My car was left to them to organise - to which I didn’t feel confident in. I was dropped off at arrivals and asked to call when I arrived back and be at departures? Which in any airport I’ve been to is illigal. The return experience was the same as when we first arrived. When we arrived back at our car the driver was very rude to a customer who was waiting for him. I would not recommend this place and or use it again. Kindest Regards

Confirmation Number: PM2102841403. We arrived at 5.45 am Sunday 8th February to find the gates at AirPort Express Parking, 2 Merchant Street, Mascot closed and we could not detect any lights on! We were alarmed at this point as we needed to check in to the domestic terminal for our Jetstar Adelaide flight (JQ760) which was leaving at 7.00 am. The gates for this flight were closing at 6.20 am. (40 mins. before takeoff) and we were worried about the time required to get through security. So we drove on and then parked at the P3 airport parking station at a much higher cost than the Park Mundo booking. My main gripe with Park Mundo is that they specifically note in their literature that the Merchant Street carpark will be open from 5am. on a Sunday and closing at 10.30pm on a Thursday. These opening and closing times suited us perfectly as we were travelling a long distance in the car just to get to the car parking. Unfortunately, for us the stated opening hours were wrong at 5.45 am. on Sunday 8th February and we had a plane to catch and were running out of time to make it! We have used the FlyParks airport parking network many times elsewhere in the world (principally in Italy at Pisa and Bergamo) without any glitches. Our Sydney experience was an exception to the rule I am sorry to say. Yours Sincerely, Mike Davis

Awful experience Dear Parkmundo Please take this as a formal complaint about the parking facility 2 Merchant Street, Mascot. I booked online , during our trip I had to extend the parking due to unforeseen circumstances. I requested my adult son to call as he was in Australia. The first issue we encountered is that the guy who runs the place informed my son that my car was not there and hung up on him. My son called back and again the guy informed my booking was not there. As I was overseas , this lead me to having to arrange a SIM card , so I could call directly . Again he told me my car was not there. I then had to say to him that the mobile I was calling him on was the number he gave me when he dropped me at the airport and he indeed had my car or better find it . He then apologized and said ok your car is here. I informed him that we would need to extend our stay and would return at 9pm on Friday 5 December. On our return to Sydney on Friday 5 December, I called the phone number 4 times before I got an answer. He then said , oh you are returning now? Sorry no one is there. I was like what are you talking about , I informed you when we would return. He then hung up on me . He eventually called back and said - catch a cab and I will get someone to the car yard . He said he would take the cost of the cab $50 of the parking charge . He then said you will need to pay me $80 cash. When I got to the car yard another man was there( who said , I don’t work here). He then told me to pay $85 cash , I said the other guy said $80. He had no change and would not take card payment . I ended up then giving him $90 cash , so I could get my car and get out of the place. I have never experienced anything this awful on a return from an overseas trip. It is the worst experience and the worst customer service or lack there of . I would like to request a formal investigation into the way this car yard ( certainly not a car park ) is run and how they treat their customers. Good location. The lady who gave me a lift to airport was lovely hence 5 star kindness rating. Check opening and closing time if travelling long distance to get there. The day before departure was told the car park closed at 12pm which meant a 6am start and much earlier arrival to airport than expected. The guy who picked me up from internaltional was late, drove unsafely using phone. Spoke English but couldn't understand what he was saying.

Straight to the airport and only a short wait when we rang on arrival. Will use again.
